JOB FUNCTION: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Produce paint and coatings
using SPI polymers and competitive polymers with the guidance of the Technical Manager. Provide feedback
to polymer development chemists. Manage multiple projects to optimize time required to satisfy customer needs.
Participate in lab meetings, customer visits, supplier meetings, seminars, trade shows or training sessions
as appropriate. Be able to direct the efforts of one or more technicians in the above activities. 25% Travel.
SPI manufactures a broad product line of water based acrylic, vinyl acrylic, vinyl acetate and styrene acrylic
copolymers, which are used in the manufacture of paint and coatings for architectural and industrial applications.
