| Elections for the 2008-2009 officers will be held at our June meeting. If you are unable to attend, please submit your ballot in a sealed envelope to the LASCT Office at P.O. Box 3633, Orange, CA 92857 or fax it directly to the LASCT Office at (714) 974-4318. Ballots must be faxed from your place of employment. Absentee ballots must be received no later than June 9th. | ||
| The annual eight-hour HAZWOPER training course, sponsored by LASCT, will take place at the Dunn-Edwards Corp. in Los Angeles. Information and registration forms are available on the Meetings & Events page. Take advantage of this opportunity to stay in compliance. | ||
| Cal Poly Pomona Certified Coatings Formulator class and lab begins September 23, 2008. It is held every Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. There are 3 quarters of 10 weeks per quarter. If you take all 3 quarters you will receive a certificate in Coatings Formuation from Cal Poly Pomona Chemistry Department. Cost is $500. The class subject list is in the LASCT yearbook on page 81.
